My husband has very bad allergies and was recently diagnosed with asthma (from 9/11). We also have 6 adult cats! It’s not easy to get rid of 6 cats, especially the two that are 13 years old. He doesn’t even want to sleep in his own bed because he knows he’ll be wheezing all night. I try my hardest to keep on top of the cat fur, but I think the furniture needs a allergen cleaner. HELP! We once reviewed Febreze on Props & Pans and I use it regularly around our house. Granted we only have one pet, but I do Febreze our dog! They have a special product called Allergen Reducer that reduces up to 75% of allergens from cats, dogs and dust mites that can become airborne from fabrics.

Izzy once reviewed Earth Choice Allergen Control for carpet and upholstery which also reduces pet dander, dust & pollen.

Our recommendation would be to give either or both of those products a try.
