My grandmother owned every gadget ever made to help her fasten her bracelets. Her generation wore real bracelets, not like us slacker Gen Xers with our bangles and jelly bracelets. She wore bracelets which have to be fastened.
Have you ever tried this? It’s really hard and annoying. Which I suppose is why an entire generation decided we weren’t going to wear them.
I don’t suffer from arthritis or any other issue which prevents me from fastening my bracelets, but as difficult as it is for me, I can’t imagine struggling with my hands working properly and trying to get a darn bracelet fastened.
The Handi Bracelet is designed to help all of us get a bracelet on easily and without fuss. A little beaded bracelet on stretchy elastic includes a french earring hook which works to hold the end of your bracelet. Slide the Handi Bracelet on – attach your bracelet loop to the french hook, wrap it around and fasten. Your bracelet doesn’t move. Once you’ve fastened your bracelet, you just slip the french hook out, slide off the handi bracelet and go on about your life.
My only quibble is very slight. The size was small, for me anyway. I have big wrists and it was a little tight. However, it isn’t meant to be worn long term so this wouldn’t have any impact on its function. It’s also convenient that this design would slip into your makeup bag and take very little space so you could take it along with you if you needed to. Handi Bracelet gets a big prop for form and function!
