i WOULD LIKE TO TRY ELATION FOR MY KNEE PROBLEMS.

Cindi | 2008-06-21 13:15:00

Greetings! It is very ironic that I found your giveaway product today. I am typing this entry from my bed. I have bone on bone osteo arthritis in both knees. My mother had it pretty badly. On friday, I was coming in from shaking a kitchen rug, I heard and felt something strange happen in the back of my right knee. I was struck down in pain! I crawled inside and yelled for my two sons to help me. Thank goodness, they both happened to be home. It was one of the two days that I take my 90 year old dad to breakfast and shopping. My oldest son took care of dad for me. The youngest, took care of me. I can’t put any pressure on my right knee. Please enter me in your drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

My tip for living healthy is to never let yourself get too hungry. When you feel hunger coming on, allow yourself a healthy snack and you’ll never get to that point where you overindulge due to being famished. It really does help.

I like the idea of drinking a pleasant flavored juice while helping joint health. Right now we have giant horse pills which are supposed to aid the joints but I love the portability and nice change of pace that Elations would offer.

Carol Brooks | 2008-06-21 14:40:18

After my hip replacement surgery last Christmas(Yes, that was my big Christmas present) I thought maybe I was home free for a while. but now my right knee is acting up and I can use all the help I can get in order to stay mobile. If this juice could do the trick I just might be able to dance at your or somebody’s wedding!

My tip: I am older than young but younger than old! I can still do the same things I did when in high school; gymnastics, running, etc. How do I do it? I’ve never STOPPED doing it. If you can do it one day, chances are, you can do it the next day!
I must say however, that as we grow older, we need more care. I do at times suffer from joint pain as in right now from stretching my arm beyond oblivion for countless hours on a motorcycle. Not good.

Marilyn Wons | 2008-06-22 05:11:01

MsFeela | 2008-06-22 10:36:45

My best tip for living “elated” is to get up. I have fibromyalgia/ Chronic fatigue syndrome and some days I really can’t even make it out of bed. I would rather lay in bed in pain but know that it will make me happier to get up and know I did at least that even with the pain. So I just get up. Sometimes, it’s only to the bathroom to shower, but that becomes a destination when you have chronic pain that’s almost as good as a trip to Cabo San Lucas once you’ve made it there. Regardless of the pain, regardless of what ails us, we have to just get up. Whatever happens from there, we know that we did SOMETHING and fought against wasting a moment of life “wishing we could”, because we know we tried.

My joints are getting a little creaky now.

Erin Graham | 2008-06-22 11:48:05

I wouldn’t mind trying it, but where is it? Do you have to order it? How expensive is it? I am a 43 year young grandmother who has knees that are older. I could use some help.

Steve Scott | 2008-06-22 12:26:01

Exercise daily - even better if you do it as a family.

Erica G | 2008-06-22 12:30:43

Pauline M | 2008-06-22 13:06:48

For me I play with my kids, that includes being the dragon when the knight is trying to rescue the princess, darth vador in his last big battle, or what we call the water balloon chase, well…. I guess that one is pretty self explanitory, and my favorite!

Accent the positive forget the negative.

Melissa Reeder | 2008-06-22 19:55:00

My best tip for “living elated” is making small changes like taking more steps, adding fruit to your cereal and having an extra glass of water. These are just a few ways you can start living healthy without drastic changes.
Thanks for the great giveaway!

anastacia | 2008-06-22 20:32:54

I like to take to heart the good old “You are what you eat” advice. If you eat greasy, fatty, sloppy foods, then you may reflect that in your appearance and health. If you eat nutritious, organic foods, you will find yourself looking and feeling healthier and better about your food choices.

Linda Lansford | 2008-06-22 21:54:36

My advice as to living elated is to never say ‘I cant’. If you think you cant walk two miles, you wont be able to. If you think you’ll never loose weight, you wont. Be positive and never give up and you can do it!

Patty | 2008-06-23 07:59:28

Thank you for having this contest. I really appreciate it. Always exercise at least a half hour a day.

Janet Wicks | 2008-06-23 08:25:47

Elations is the answer for my shellfish allergies. I am elated I found this drink to help my joints without containing shellfish like the supplement pills.

Deborah Rosen | 2008-06-23 08:49:37

One of my ways to “live elated” is to focus on the positive. If I wake up and my back hurts, I don’t focus on that, I focus on how great it’s going to feel to be out on the deck, drinking coffee and listening to the birds sing. In other words, do what you have to to take care of the aches and pains, but don’t let them become the focus of your life.

tim brown | 2008-06-23 09:06:45

drink lots of water
THANK YOU GOD BLESS

My husband could use Elations for his joint problems.

My tip for living elated is to never give up and not let small setbacks stop your forward progress. If you want something bad enough, don’t let anything stop you, especially negative people and naysayers.

Vikki C. | 2008-06-27 08:46:24

My tip for living elated is to always eat a substantial breakfast with plenty of protein, fruit, and fiber to keep you full until lunch and your batteries charged.

Rachel Robertson | 2008-06-27 12:37:07

Never take for granted the small things in life. When Hurricane Katrina struck Biloxi, I found that it was the smallest things I missed the most. I missed a hot cup of tea or coffee, a light to help through the darkness or worst of all the sounds of everyday life. The quiet reminded me how much I love hearing the sounds of life all around me and how very lucky I am to have them. My mom always told me that if you worry aobut what other people have, then you never have the time to appreciate what you have.

Samantha Pruitt | 2008-06-27 13:41:12

i’d say, trying to find humor in bleak or just plain boring situations, when i can do that it springs me back to life.

Dream yourself into becoming. That is the advice science fiction writer Ray Bradbury gave me when I interviewed him a decade and a half ago. It works for him, and it has worked for me. It has helped me survive some rare, catastrophic medical disorders.

Kristen Hendricks | 2008-06-28 21:15:50
