I have a difficult time finding balance not only in my life, but on my face as well. There are a lot of areas (such as the T-Zone) that seem to pump excess oil mid-day and then there are other areas where I must pick off the dry skin in the morning after applying make-up. So with all these facial products out there why can’t there be a happy medium?
Meet Mark. Mark, meet my face. You may have seen that Avon has a new line of products targeted at young women called Meet Mark. I’m sure they weren’t marketed towards 30 year old mom’s, but I use what works and this has made a difference in my skin.
My first encounter with Matte Chance Mattifying Lotion was a total fluke. I was out of my regular oil-free lotion and grabbed a sample someone had given me to try. The first attempt was after an evening shower and before bed. I applied it to my entire face and expected to wake up with the typical oily residue the next morning. Imagine my surprise to find my skin looking clean and refreshed!
Thinking it was too good to be true, I gave it the ultimate daytime test. Would this shine free, light, oil-free moisturizer truly be able to handle my make up? Mark says it contains a blend of oil absorbers that creates that perfect matte finish I found when I woke up, but will it deliver during the day?
Impressively it did and the fresh look lasted all day. Matte Chance contains a dose of sugar cane which acts as a natural alpha-hydroxy and keeps skin glowing. There is no gritty feel when you apply the lotion and you can’t even tell it’s in there, but you can certainly see the effects. For around $15 you can meet Mark and have the same experience.

I have the same kind of skin you describe, constantly shiny forehead and nose, but dry skin on my cheeks. Thanks for the review of Matte Chance! I assumed it was just for college age people, and I’m a “few” years past that, but now I’d like to give this a try.
