Welcome to Must Have Monday’s. Every Monday our reviewers will let you have a sneak peak into what we use in our homes and our lives. Here we will tell you about the things we can’t live without. If you have a “must have” item to pass along please e-mail us. We welcome contributions from our readers and are always looking for new reviewers.

I don’t cook much, but we do use a lot of frozen hamburger meat in our household. The problem with frozen meat is that when you try to break it up as you cook it takes forever. I know I could plan ahead and de-thaw things, but like I said I don’t cook much (so that means I don’t plan much either). My mother actually gave my husband a Mix N’ Chop from Pampered Chef and it has turned out to be the best kitchen gadget we’ve ever owned.
If you twist and chop while cooking frozen meat it will grind it into the texture you are wanting in a much quicker manner than using a traditional spatula or other item. It’s perfect for turning hamburger into a fine meat for chili. It’s heat resistant and has a comfortable handle to hold. The best part is that it is so simple to wash. I would recommend it as the perfect bridal shower gift!

The on-the-go hand sanitizer is a great smelling product that refreshes your hands when soap and water are not an option. As an avid Purell user I welcomed the more natural scent of the essential oils and love the spray pump design. I have been keeping the bottle in the cup holder of my car so it is within reach. I would highly recommend this hand sanitzer to other busy parents.
An even better option is the small travel containers that can be put in your purse or even a backpack. They are convenient and easy to refill, which is good for our environment.

“Hi! I’m Riff!” introduces us to the newest member of the Barney Family. In this DVD, Riff (a six year old Hadrosaur) is new to the neighborhood so he decides to start the Best Friends Club in hopes to get to know everyone a little better. However, he finds that it takes a little time and effort to get everything just right. Riff loves all kinds of music and it shows in this entertaining video.
What we really liked about this DVD is that it’s filled with new as well as old familiar songs that made us (well, the kids) want to get up and dance around. It was also a great way to familiarize the girls with Riff’s character since they don’t show him too often on the television show. I also liked that it emphasized friendship and patience which are always great lessons for kids.
