I do not know a mom or dad who wouldn’t benefit from a great pair of tennis shoes. While I know most of us may not be able to spend a lot on a pair of shoes, it is recommended you spend the most you are can afford to ensure you get a great fitting pair. I use to be one of those people who would spend the least amount possible on shoes, but I have learned this is not good for our feet. After all, they do take the brunt (besides our back) of our activities.
New Balance has a large variety and style to choose from for the entire family. I recently purchased a pink and white pair that I absolutely love. I honestly do not purchase anything other than New Balance and I am able to find them on sale most of the time. One of the greatest attributes of New Balance is their choice of wide width shoes. While I do not have the widest foot out there, I do have a tendency to swell which can make my shoes rather uncomfortable.
I am not sure if you have noticed, but most shoe companies, especially tennis shoe companies, do not carry wide widths. If they do the only way to get them is by special order. When I go shoe shopping I want my shoes right then, not two weeks later.
When purchasing a pair of tennis shoes I look for fit, style and price. You notice the price is last, right? If New Balance stopped making tennis shoes tomorrow, I would be so lost. Thanks to to them my feet feel better!

I have the same pair of New Balance shoes for almost 3 years now & they have held up great!! I have some ankle issues and the physical therapist was telling me this was the best brand of shoes for your feet. Did you know the higher the number (on the description) the better they are? Something about more support, etc…

These are very well fitting shoes. Not too narrow and seem to be well made!!
Well fitting shoes are so often overlooked and Emily, it is cool you can wear them; especially knowing your ankle problems.
Terry: They are very well made. Funny thing is I have never had a pair rip, come apart (you know the glued areas) or anything. If I have to throw them away it is because ‘I’ did something to them.
You can even wash them with no issues (at least in my experience).
