My husband is really good at finding things that I always wanted as a kid and bringing them into my life as an adult. When I was little, besides longing for the Dolly Madison treats they advertised during the Peanuts programs, I always wanted a Snoopy Snow Cone Machine.
I mean how could you really go wrong making wonderful snow cone treats at home? You can’t.
The syrup is made out of just regular old Kool-Aid style drink mix, only it’s a very concentrated version so that it’s syrupy. You put the flavor syrup in the Snoopy you see sitting on the top of the dog house pictured.
It really does shave up regular ice cubes, but with one challenge. You need a Dad-sized strength to turn the little tunnel with the blades that your ice cube is being shredded through. I simply can’t do it. In fact, left to my own devices there would be zero Snoopy Snow Cones in the future, simply because I couldn’t turn the the ice grater if I had to.
I found it surprising that you really do need the little shovel it comes with to dig the ice out of the tunnel. Not a show stopper, but I wondered why they included it. Well, now I know! At last my dreams have come true and Dad made me a Snoopy Snow Cone. Not my dad mind you, but someones dad nonetheless.

You’re lucky!
I always wanted one of those as a kid and was jealous of the kids who’s parents let them have so much sugar. Now I’m just like my parents and my kids can be jealous of your kids.
What a fun idea for the summer!
I remember those. Wow, I feel old.
I did get the Snoopy electric toothbrush though. I have no clue what happened to it. I even have a picture of me with it. I was so in love with Snoopy and the Peanuts when I was a kid.
My sister bought my girls this snow cone maker and it’s still in the box. Maybe I should give it a try. Thanks for the review!
