At one point very recently I had three children under the age of three. Besides meaning that I am very tired, it also means I have some definite opinions about sippy cups. Until chocolate and strawberry milk have destroyed your carpets, you might not have such strong opinions.
But I am a believer in the Playtex brand. We’ve had some other brands given to us and we’ve tried some other brands on our own. They were all garbage. Seriously just garbage!
The Playtex Sipster has a replaceable valve system that truly does keep the liquid inside. It does a reasonable job of keeping cool drinks cool without any fancy insulation, and is durable enough to withstand being thrown down on hard surfaces repeatedly. The handles on the side are well spaced and make it simple for little hands, who are developing motor skills, to use.
Some of the sippy cups we own today (and use daily) are the originals we purchased about 5 years ago. Sure we’ve replaced the valves once or twice. I can’t tell you how many other cups didn’t even survive a year.
The Playtex Sipster is a tough sippy cup that is easy for little hands to hold and survives being used roughly by three little boys. I heartily recommend it.

Of all the sippy cups we used, this one was by far the best. After 3 or 4 my son graduated to their taller version without the handles, but it is a perfect starter cup for little ones!
I agree. We have tried all of the others and Playtex wins by a long shot. They are leak-proof unlike all the others. These are the only ones allowed in my house.
