Two of our reviewers were asked to put the Kodak EasyShare 5300 All-In-One Printer to the test. We gladly agreed and now you can have the same experience. Kodak is graciously giving one lucky reader this same printer. All you need to do is leave a comment between now and midnight (EST) November 18th and state how you would best use this printer with your kids. Kodak will be choosing the winner so make it good!

When asked if I would give a review on a Kodak printer, I was ecstatic because we have so many digital pictures that I haven’t printed simply because I’m too lazy to put them on a disk and head to the store. I didn’t expect such a massive machine to arrive that would offer to print, copy or scan anything my little heart I desired.
The Kodak EasyShare 5300 does all that and more. I love when products combine several tasks into one item and eliminate the need for several appliances to sit out on the desk or table. Although this printer is a little larger than I imagined, the quality of work makes up for the size.
I have to say that the pictures it printed were of high quality and the sharpness was terrific. Kodak is known for it’s brilliant colors and they’ve continued that tradition with this printer. It’s extremely user-friendly and worked well with both our digital camera and computer.
My biggest concern was the expense of buying refill ink cartridges. We had a photo printer several years ago that I finally gave up on because the refills were more expensive than having pictures printed. Much to my surprise Kodak offers black refill cartridges for under $10 and color cartridges for under $15. WOW! That is impressive and very affordable.
The scanner is great for pictures and images, as well as the copier. It’s only been up and running in our home for a week and I’ve already used the copier several times. The only way you could improve this product is to add “fax machine” to it’s list. It retails for just under $200 and is truly something every household could use.

When the Kodak EasyShare 5300 All-in-One printer arrived, I was shocked to see how big the box was. After unpacking it and placing it on my desk, I realized that while it may be bigger than my current and fairly crappy HP printer, there were some definite advantages to the Kodak that made the size a non-issue. This line of thinking proved correct once I started messing around with the EasyShare and actually making it work for that precious desktop real estate.
First of all, it scans, copies AND prints which means I can get rid of my desktop scanner which has quite a footprint in it’s own right.
It also means that I can make copies on actual paper instead of feeding stuff through my ancient fax machine and getting copies on that weird heat sensitive receipt-like paper that insists on remaining curled no matter what.
But the real benefit is being able to print photos. Nice photos, that is. I can’t tell you how many thousands of pictures I have stored digitally that I’ve never made prints of but suffice it to say, it’s a LOT.
I’ll get to them all someday (I will!) but sometimes, I’d like to just make ONE print of ONE photo, perhaps to stick in a card or to give to a friend and frankly, uploading and sending even ONE digital photo to Walgreens or wherever and then having to go pick it up is just entirely too much time and trouble and I know I won’t do it.
This is where the EasyShare truly excels. I can print out photos to my heart’s content and if I run out of ink, it’s only $10 to replace the black ink and $15 to replace the color ink. I normally spend almost double that amount for the crappy HP printer that I’m about to Freecycle and it doesn’t print photos nearly as well as the Kodak.
Now, as a disclaimer, I’m no expert on printers or really any kind of electronics but as an “average” consumer, I’d say the Kodak EasyShare is a fine, fine printer and I’m quite happy with it so far. I’d also venture to say that most people would find it easy to use and be impressed with the quality of the photo prints. The scanning and copying? Well, that’s just tasty, lump-free gravy, as far as I’m concerned.

I COULD USE IT ALL!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE LET ME WIN! I WOULD LOVE IT FOR THE HOLIDAY PICTURES OF OUR GRANDKIDS AND I DO VOLUNTEER WORK WITH CASA KIDS THAT REQUIRES LOTS OF COMPUTER WORK. THE PRINTER & COPIER WOULD BE GREAT FOR THIS AS WELL.
I would use this printer to print off pictures for great grandparents and grandparents. Also, my son likes having a small photo album with his school friends in it so this would be perfect for making that album.
I would love this printer. My boy loves to take photos and use them to illustrate the little books he makes. (He’s 6 1/2.) I have to be really stingy about printing photos with the printer we have now. With this printer, I could be a more generous mom.
This would be fantastic for me… I have so many pictures of my daughter and I wait forever and a day to print them at my local Sams Club - then it costs me an arm and a leg - you’d think I’d learn by now not to wait an eternity. BUT - if I could just print them off at home - wow, how easy my life would be. Sigh.
Boy, I could really use a super duper kick butt printer…
where ever could I get my hands on one being that I make peanuts and spend whatever little I have left on my gorgeous, absolutely beautifully photogenic daughter…
Hmmm.
I would love to win this. Please count me in. Thank you so much!
I am a photo-holic when it comes to my 11 month old daughter! With this printer, I would find a thousand uses. I would print off extra photos to give to grandparents and friends. I would make photo greeting cards for Christmas, holidays, and birthdays. I would print off photos so I could start scrapbooking–something I’ve been wanting to do forever! I would print off my favorite digital photos that I’ve been avoiding printing off because of the extra cost. I would love this printer!!! Thank you so much for the opportunity to win it!!!
The thing I’d really like to use it for is to make photo cards to send to relatives who live far away and who don’t have computer access. So many digital pictures of the kids!!
My grandmother died two months ago. She was 98 years old and a wealth of knowledge until the day she died. Going through her apartment I found hundreds of photos from when she was a little girl all the way up to her great granddaughters. I want to scan and share these photographs with my cousins and their children.
this printer would be great for my daughter’s grandparents to use!
My 2 year old just broke my printer so I could use a new one!! I use my printer daily to print all those cute things 2 year old do:)
I would use it to print all of the pictures that just sit in my computer so that I could make a photo album for my son.
This would be great to print out all the pictures I take of my darling 2 year old daughter, who is growing like a weed, and send actual pictures to her grandparents (who aren’t computer literate).
I also love the cost to replace the cartrigdes. That part is a wonderful surprise.
How neat! I just had twins so this would be wonderful.
We frequently send photos to my daughter’s grandparents and birthmother. I’d love a printer that would print photos for them!
I have hundreds and hundreds of pictures of my six kiddos saved to my computer that I have never printed! Isn’t that horrible??? I can’t imagine how terrible it would be if something happened to my computer before I had a chance to print them all! But, with six little ones, all under the age of seven, I just can’t seem to find the time to get out and print them all. It would be so easy if I could do it in the comfort of my own home!
Here’s what I would do with the Kodak Easy Share All-In-One printer if I had one:
1)Get my littlest guy all cozy and snug in my Moby Wrap
2)Put on some fun music
3)Set my other five kiddos up around my computer
4)Start sorting through the pictures to pick out the best of the best, while talking about all of the fun things we’ve done over the last couple of years (Yes, it’s really been that long!)
5)Start printing. I’m sure it would take us hours!
This printer would be perfect for helping to make our memories last a lifetime!!
(As much as I would like to keep the competition to a minimum, I have linked to this giveaway today. I hope that’s okay!)
I am busily trying to make scrapbooks for my 2 and 4 year old and I’ve run out of actual printed photographs to scrap. I have 2 years of photos of both of them just sitting on my hard drive waiting to be printed out and chronicled. I would absolutely LOVE to have this printer so I could do it at home and not have to upload all the photos to a web-based printing service. I’m a do-it-myself AT HOME kind of girl!
The question is…How can I NOT use this thing with the kiddos?! We could do a little of everything! (scrapbooking, party invites, holiday cards, calendars, magnets, you name it!)
When my daughter was 8 months olds I found out I was pregnant again. Since then all the pictures I have taken have been on the computer, waiting for me to summon the courage to take my little one and my prego self to the stupid machine at the store. This is NOT a fun chore with a one year old, I am sure you can agree! And with the due date coming ever closer, I am beginning to despair of ever getting a picture printed again! Not to mention, I changed to a stay at home job to be with my kids, and it would be great for that too! Help my kids have a finished baby book! Pick ME!!!!
I would use it to print pictures for the girls scrapbooks and to make copies for my preeschoolers
For one thing, the grandparents and great grandparents would love you and I would stop getting those “Please send us some pics!” emails.
Also, we’ve been trying to keep a tangible photo album for the kiddies and it’s been so long since I’ve remembered to print some out at the store and go pick them up and then put them into the album and then write a catchy captions and….;) These albums would be gifted to them on their wedding day. Am I thinking ahead or what?!
If I had this printer I would use it to print pictures of my kids playing with or using gifts they receive and include the pictures with their thank-you notes so the person who gave them the gift could see for themselves that the child really loved their gift. I’d also like to use it for when we have kid parties. I would take a picture of each child and then quickly print up a picture for them to take home. It sounds like a great printer.
Please include me in your drawing! This would be very useful for my homeschooling and also my crafting.
Thanks
~Amy
I am going to create my own family board game from scratch titled Memory Lane for Christmas. The game includes questions, photos, and treasures they have to collect on the way as they try to return “home”. It requires a lot of work mostly in the form of pictures, scanning and printing. I am so excited to give this to my in-laws and this all-in-one printer would make creating the game much easier and fun to do! Pick me, pick me!
My parents are refugees to America, having escaped the genocide of their SE Asian country during the 80’s. Because of all the horrors they experienced, they were unable to save any photographs of their own family. This has resulted in a huge cultural gap between us and a sense of loss for me. When my parents talk about their relatives (almost all of them had died during the genocide), I can only picture blank faces. I now have a 5 month old son and don’t want him to ever be in that situation. While I can’t bring back those lost photos, I can start preserving the ones we do have now. I take tons of pictures of him with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins to sort of bridge the gap and keep all of these memories alive. Unfortunately, with my busy schedule, I don’t have time to print them all out, nor the time or technical knowledge to pick out a printer when I go shopping. Winning this would be a priceless opportunity and one that my whole family could enjoy.
Wow! What a great prize! I would like to get my kids involved in making their own scrapbooks. This would be perfect!
I have a 6 month old baby and Im a full time college student. We would use this printer to print out all his adorable baby pictures and make copies for friends and family. I would use this printer for schoolwork! We actually had an HP all in one.. but sadly it died a few months ago so we are DESPERATE for a new printer!!
I am a former teacher now staying at home with my daughter. I would love to take photos of things we see on nature walks, ABC stuff we see around for alphabet books, friend and family books, etc. It is so easy to make cute books when you print out photos. Uh, I admit I haven’t printed out photos of my one year old since she was a week old. Yeouch! I would be a printing maniac! Of course the grandmothers would also appreciate as they would get a zillion photos. I am so thrilled the cartridges aren’t too expensive. That is something I never would have thought of, so thanks for putting that in your review. Good luck to everyone, this is a great giveaway! Thanks!
I am a true photo fanatic….Always have been, but since my son was born….WOAH! I am constantly ordering pictures from Kodak, so how great would it be to have my pictures at my fingertips! I would definitely put that scanner to good use by scanning all of my “pre-digital camera days” pics t use in my scrapbooking! This looks like an awesome all-in-oner! Thanks so much for the chanceto win….I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
Oh I would love this printer! We gave my 13 year old daughter a nice digital camera for her B-Day and my 5 year old son one we got off e-bay for his birthday. The e-bay one was a good choice for my son. The first one we bought him got eaten by the dog when he took it outside and left it for the dog to find. He liked taking pictures so much that he replaced it with another inexpensive camera bought on e-bay with money he saved from his allowance. So with my two cameras, one of which is a Kodak EasyShare DX7590, we take a lot of pictures. My kids are always wanting to print off their masterpieces (self-portraits are a big item at my house) but we’ve only got a small photo printer and we have to be judicious with the actual photo printing. So my kids and I would print off their masterpieces and paper their walls with them.
With 2 kids now, I don’t send nearly as many pictures of my sons to their grandparents and great-grandparents as I used to - and five out of the six households are non-computer users so email and photo-sharing sites won’t work. So they’ve really missed out on quite a bit this last year, since I just don’t have the time that I used to to upload, edit, print and pick up pictures at Costco the way I did when we had only one. If we had our own printer, I would send photos at least once a month!
I would use this almost everyday. I have a Kodak Digital Camera ( the EasyShare C340) with tons of pictures that I upload to my computer, but never end up printing off. But the biggest reason why I am dying to have this is because we desperately need one! My oldest is 4 and I didn’t have a digital camera 4 years ago, so all my pictures I have of Kai are printed ones from one time use cameras that I have shoved in boxes or put in books. I’ve been searching and searching for the best All in One not only for printing paper and pictures, but to be able to upload Kai’s pictures onto my computer and also to save on our external harddrive to keep forever. I want to be able to show my grandchildren and great grandchildren Kai’s photos without having to worry about them discoloring from old age.
Thanks for this great contest and good luck to everyone!
I would love to win this all in one printer. Currently we have a Kodak digital camera and the printer dock. This printer would make it possible to print out the photos of my children in larger sizes so that we can give them as gifts to the grandparents, great grandparents, aunts and uncles. My son is 22 months and we have our 2nd son that is due on January 2nd (on his brother’s b.day). I would love to win this so that we can easily print out the photos of the boys from the comfort of our home.
As our kids get older, I would love to purchase kid digital cameras for them so that they can learn how to take great photos, and then learn how to print them out - and make great gifts for people.
Thank you for the opportunity to win this printer.
I’ve used the EasyShare camera for about 4 years now and if the printer is as easy to use, I’d be in heaven! I take a ton of pictures and my 4 year old takes even more (yes, using my camera). Her pictures are SOOO much better than mine and I’d love to be able to give her a chance to hold the photo instead of looking at them on the computer. She has been nagging me to let her scrapbook again, all her’s, no help from me. You get the picture? Ultra independent 4 year old artist.
I would love this printer to print of pics of my 6 month old daughter to give to her grandparents. We also take a picture every month and put it on the calendar. This way we track her monthly progress from birth.
I would use the printer to print photos of my 19 month-old son. I’ve taken thousands of them so far - I need to organize an album. I would also use it to print out text for scrapbooking. I would use the copier to make copies of forms that I’m sending in (income tax, reimbursements, & whatnot). The scanner would likely be used to scan the works of art that my son produces so that his grandparents can enjoy them as well.
Great contest - thanks!
I would use this printer to launch my next campaign to reduce my housework! I would take pictures of my son happily putting toys in the various bins and baskets in his room, print them, and tape them to the bins so that he can see what goes in each basket! I would use a similar approach to make worksheets showing my kids how to do certain things, like the steps to take when brushing their teeth, or making their bed.
I would of course use it for posterity, and scrapbooks, and cards, and all the other stuff too.
But this way? Everyone wins. More time for mommy new printer child doing chores = mo pictures.
I would use it to print pictures of my kids to finally fill all the empty frames I’ve bought and never filled. I have a nice one that holds like 12 photos of varying sizes that’s been sitting on a shelf in our living room for at least a year. Pick me!
I am entering for my daughter, Taylor. She is almost 8 years old and is getting a Kodak EasyShare camera (a replacement for her current hand me down) for Christmas this year. Over the past few months she has developed a knack for capturing great shots. She wants to be able to print the pictures she takes and share them with her far away grandparents and friends.
As a single mum, when I got pregnant I scrimped and saved to get a beat up second hand digital camera. Now that my son is one, I have a computer folder so full of pictures, waiting for that day when I will be able to afford to print them, to make albums for me, to make albums for him when his older, to hang on my walls, and to send to his grandparents and extended family who live all over the world and don’t get to see him growing each day.
It would be nice to have a printer, now, and not have to wait for that unknown date in the future when I will have money left over from groceries and bills.
This isn’t a sob story. It’s a story of impatience. I have the photos, which is the most important part, but the computer screen is never as good as real thing. I want to see them in all their glory, in layouts made with care or framed with love. And I want to share them. If I have to wait, so be it, but any chance to not have to wait… I’ll take it.
We could easily wear this thing out !! We only have one child and are older parents so to be able to print all of our memories with her as she grows would be so wonderful and cherished!!
What a great way to share my son’s pictures and artwork with his grandparents. And, even better, a way to share pictures of our almost here baby!!
I could sure use this for many things. My kids would love it! They constantly print thigs from various websites. My oldest is going to get a digital camera for christmas, so a printer to print beautiful pics would sure be nice:) Please sign us up!
My 14 month old son and I have been creating books of photographs– pictures of him, the people in his life, the things in his life, his artwork, etc. This printer would be perfect for this ongoing project. The ability to print pictures, artwork, and other things that fit on a flatbed as we encounter them would make these books even more relevant to his life and increase his ability to make connections, to learn, to grow, and to appreciate the beautiful world that we live in. This printer would be perfect!
My older daughter (4 years old) has been having trouble adjusting to having a younger sibling, who is now almost 1, especially now that the younger one can crawl and grab at everything. I would like to use the printer to make a special “Sisters for Life” book, where I would print out all the pictures of the two of them having fun together, as a reminder, especially for my eldest, that there are plenty of times when they get along and actually enjoy each other’s company. I would get out the book whenever there was a particularly nasty disagreement or unforgivable trespass of some sort, and remind them both how much fun they can have.
I’d finish my son’s first year scrapbook (he turns two this month) and finish organizing our photo collection. Just as our second son joins the family. Seems timely, right?
I’m sure my kids would love to print pictures that they take of me sleeping or whatever that I’m not aware of and show anyone who will look.
I’d like to make scrapbooks, okay that won’t happen. I’d like the kids to make scrapbooks for the family so we can finally get pictures off the computer and free up some space.
I would love this printer. I am a stay at home mom…raising 17mth triplets…all i do is take pics…but I cant afford to go to local pharmacy to print…i cant afford the time or $$. This woul be soo usefully as I have more than 7000 pics…and would love to print my favs and put them in their scrapbook. Thanks for making one of us a lucky winner…very nice prize!
My son will be a year old tomorrow, and I have over 400 pictures of his first year saved on this computer. But not a one can I take to dinner to show our friends. If only I had a way to print them out…
My kids always seem to need pictures for school projects, that would be biggest use. My kids & I also scrapbook, so it would be fun to be able to print as needed. Another thing we like to do is include a photo with a thank you of the kids & the new gifts.
we love making scrapbooks for all the grandparents. we also like to print picture for our baby’s room.
I would love to win this to send pics of my new little girl to family and friends.
This would be a wonderful present! I can think of a hundred ways I would use it with my kids! Right now my son is the only grandchild on both sides and his great-grandparents (there are 5!) don’t have internet access. This would be perfect for letting me quickly print pictures and send them. (and I take a TON of pictures!)
When the kids are older it would be great to let them doodle on the computer and then print their “coloring pages” as well as actually printing pages for them to color on. There are a ton of different ways we could use this later on!
Finally, I’m just getting started in Discovery Toys and it would be wonderful to have a really good printer as well as copy machine for all my business work. Discovery Toys are all about high quality, educational, and super fun toys for kids so I hope that I will be able to make a difference in a lot of kids lives through these great toys.
Thanks for this great opportunity.
Honestly, I do not have any children of my own (yet). I do think of my fifth-grade students as “my kids” during the day. I would love to have this photo printer to document many of the activities that we do, and to make gifts and share photos with their families.
My oldest daughter got a digital camera last Christmas and her younger sister is getting one for her birthday this month. So far we haven’t been able to print out any of the photos that Abby’s taken, so this would be an awesome way to let both of them print out photos that they’ve taken themselves! Thank you for the opportunity and please count me in!
This would be perfect. I would use this to print out the pictures from the last year and a half that are still on my camera or computer. Sadly, I never print them out.
My first camera was a Kodak disk camera. Anyone remember those? I took tons of pictures at my grandparents’ house. And now that all of them are gone, I would love to scan in those old pics (and a ton of others) and have them for a digital scrapbook.
In addition, I’m expecting our first son in 2 weeks. Since I have a digital SLR, I will be taking a lot of pictures of him. But I don’t have an easy way to print them here at home. His grandparents live almost 2000 miles away and would LOVE me to send them printed pictures that they can show around the office and to other family.
An all-in-one unit sounds perfect for a variety of uses. Something like that would be great for our family. And what a terrific baby gift! (hint, hint, Kodak - *grin*)
We would use this printer to chart our kid’s growth. We mark off their height at various times of the year - with a photo printer we could take pictures at various landmarks or favorite places each year and make a collage! What a great treasure to have to show future generations!!
oh i have been trying to win one for so long. Me and my kids would use it for everything we would print out pictures, make cards, drawings. the whole nine yards. my husband is back in college, so he would get a lot of use out of it. plus ink is a lot cheaper than dell. please
I have recently been blessed to become a first time mom to an adorable little girl. I have always been a scrapbook fanatic but now I am flat out addicted to taking pictures and always have a camera attached to my eye. This printer would provide me with more precious time with my little princess. Instead of running to the store to pick up prints, I could print the pictures right here in my home. And the Grandparents would love frequent updates of their newest family member!
My daughter is getting a digital camera for christmas, she is only 2, but she loves photography. This printer would let us print out what she does and make it a great activity to do together.
I would use this printer to print our photos for my daughter’s scrapbook as opposed to sending them off to a store online and driving to pick them up. We also would use it to print off coloring pages and educational exercises that she loves to do online anyways. It would also be nice to scan in some of our special photos of great grandparents and other family members that could get lost with time. This way we could send them to other family members so we all have the fortune of having these priceless memories.
I need this one! I would use it to print pictures and scan my kids artwork and make a book so I can finally throw away all of these papers scattered around my house!
I would use this with my oldest son to make photo gifts for relatives. He loves to be creative and this would be a great way since he now has his own camera and could print them at home quick and easy.
I need this! With over 2000 pics of my 1yr old son in Iphoto i could finally make those scrapbooks I was planning on!
Our printer died some months back and we haven’t had a chance to fit in a new one into our budget. I felt it most keenly on Halloween when I couldn’t print out a photo of my little Kiddo who was looking adorable in his first ever costume (it was his first Halloween). Grandparents on both sides are aghast at this lack but well… that’s how things are. I’d truly love to have this great gizmo!
please enter me!
My Nana’s been after me to get her pictures of the kidlets (her doctor teases her that they don’t believe that she’s a great-grandmother to twins since she never has pictures.)
And my two HP printers don’t work well enough to either print in color or to bring in black and white (respectively).
Please make my year! ^_^ Thank you!!
Seven words: Highly realistic printable dog and cat masks. Photo here: http://i21.tinypic.com/vox0mv.jpg. My child would demand to be the tabby cat, leaving me to be the pug. According to the maskmaker, if I had a Kodak Easyshare All-in-One printer, the ink is so inexpensive, I could print enough animal masks for my whole office and freak out my boss. But enough about shaking up staid accountants, this is about the children!
No more forcing family members to wait for me to schlep to the store for photo printing. Thanks to Kodak, I use one-click photo printing from my memory card and Grandpa Walt gets to see my 3 year old dressed up as a kangaroo on Halloween instead of in March.
Using the scan feature, I could finally de-art my fridge whilst saving them for posterity. Goodbye toddler hand turkey, hell-ooo ice dispenser. Our family can now enjoy artwork AND cool drinks.
Like all the other busy moms, this printer would give me a kick in the pants on scrapbook progress. No more “no time to process/prints blurry” excuses. Just me zipping prints directly from my memory card onto my photo mats. I’ll be *that* mom who is up to date on her scrapbook and has a visible fridge.
And finally, I’ll be saving so much money on photo printing (refill cartridges for $10-$15, really?) I will spring for the assorted bag of dinosaurs, instead of reciting my usual “just pick one, we’re not made of money”.
Rats, now I’ve talked myself into how much I want this printer. Sigh, I could be wearing a pug face right now.
We live in rural Nebraska { when I mean Rural I mean rural, we live in a town of 532 people and my daughters school has 104 students K-12}, if we need groceries or necessities we drive
1 1/2 hours each away to develop and print our digital pictures. Our family has to watch our kids grow up in pictures since they live in California. We dont get to go home that often to visit our family and it is heartbreaking for us.Since I have a small child and a preteen going to develop our pictures is a Big job in itself. It is not an easy task to have a shopping cart of diapers, groceries and try to figure out how to juggle my kids and the “not so friendly” store employees who dont have the time to help me figure out how to use their printing machine.By the time we get home I realized that they I hadnt pressed the red eye reduction button on each picture and now I’m in tears having to use a black marker to fix the pictures I have paid an astronomical price for.
I really do need somethng like this, it would be a God send to a Mom who would Love her life to be just a “little easier” in any aspect.Plus I realized that since my husband is always farming there are no- pictures of me with the children, I guess I am always the one behind the camera, and now my toddler is asking “Where are you in the Picture Mommy?”
Please consider me, it would mean the world to a “Farming Mom” Lost Somewhere in the Midwest !
My son and I can do crafts together. Making copies of his favorite coloring pages would be wonderful.
Oh my…..how would I *not* use this?! Pictures for their annual autobiographies for school, scrap booking, picture sharing with family to keep the grandparents in the loop. My mops newsletter, and, best of,I’d actually PRINT OUT pictures….whereas I can’t afford to develop film. This would be great. And with 5 kids, that would be helpful!
My kids’ grandparents are always asking me for “real” pictures — I would love to be ablet to print them some. I would also make some high-quality larger prints of the kids for myself to put in frames and scrapbooks!
I would use this printer so my son & I could print off pictures to and from his nana in the UK. He has only met her once since she is so far away and pictures are the only way to keep them in each others lives.
We NEEEEEED a printer, so we could put it to great use. As most moms I have a collection of pictures to print and I would love to print all those activity pages off Web sites my daughter likes. Thanks for the giveaway.
I so want this printer. I love Kodak products and always have. I would use this printer to of course print photos and calenders, and such. How would I use this printer with my kids? Well my boys are budding photographers, they want to take pictures of all the creations, lego and bionicle. If I had this printer I could easily print out there photos and they could then creat there books and stories with the photos they have taken or I have taken without me having to worry about my ink supply being used up and not having it for other things. This printer would make photograph for me and my children so much more fun and I could help them put there books and stories together.
We don’t have a printer for our pictures and just got a color printer last week at a garage sale for $10. It’s ancient, but you should have seen the excitement the two older kids had when they printed something in color! I have started my own business making baby products and my 9 year old son is in charge of Photoshop on our computer…I got it for Christmas and every time I tried to figure it out, I got frustrated. He’s mastered it, and loves graphic design and making things on the computer. This would support his desire to become a graphic designer and work with images and computers. I also have two younger children who would love to just be able to print pictures that have been sitting in a file marked digital pictures. My two older kids were before the digital camera so they actually have hard copies of pictures, however, the youngest has nothing unless we print it up. It would be the excitement of the year to win this giveaway!!
My Wife is the love of my Life and she would so benefit from this greatly by giving her quality time with our children. i know that my wife had left a comment on your site earlier today but knowing her I’m sure she didnt mention that taking photos of our kids are so important to her because when she was young her Mother was killed tragically and it devestated her to now end, there were only less than a handful of pictures in existance of her mother and most of them were torn or damaged and none of them with my wife or her siblings. She was raised by her grandparents that were from Old world Europe and they didnt take any pictures of my wife growing up either.Sometimes they couldnt afford school pictures.SO she hold on to what she has very dearly. We have 2 kids, and she always is pointing her 4 megapixal camera at them - I not thinking havent taken any at all of her with our children and now our youngest has been asking “Wheres Mommy in the picture” and it breaks my heart. Those times we cant get back to have her on the other side of the camera. The closest town is 1 1/2 hours from where we live to get prints from our camera and it is always a long hard day for her and the kids.I guess why this so important for me to have this for my wife is that shortly after our 2 1/2 year old was born the doctors found 3 masses on my wifes brain, either MS or they dont know what will happen in time.I am scared for my Wife and children and dont know what will happen if we ever lose her.She is the glue that holds us all together. I work in the farming industry and my wife grew up at the ocean in Calif. she misses her family dearly and I feel guilty haveing her hear with me in the middle of nowhere. My children could use this with their mom to make albums together laugh together and make memories together so that they will never know the feeling of trying to remember there mothers face. They’ll have Memories, something you cant put a price tag on.
My son loves to take pictures with our camera. We often just look at them on the computer because of the time and expense of printing them out at a store. With a Kodak EasyShare 5300 All-In-One Printer, he could expand his creativity by combining scanning with photo editing software. and have the ability to print it out He has already won one photography contest with a picture he took of his grandmother and having a Kodak EasyShare 5300 All-In-One Printer would allow him to create and hold whatever his five year old heart desires.
We live about 8 hours away from all of our family, so I would use the printer to (finally) print off our digital pictures, and make copies to mail to the relatives. Thanks for the opportunity!
We just found out we are about to move to a new state which has prompted us as a family to become suddenly obsessed with taking photos. We would use to the All-In-One printer to create photo books to leave with our friends, and to create a few to help us remember our home and this place we have grown to love so much. Our kids are 5,4 and 2 and I know for a while they will really, really, miss our home here. I also know, very soon, they won’t remember it, and I want them to have something to hold onto as we talk through our years together here.
How perfect with my hectic life would it be to print pictures for my friends and family in as little as 28 seconds..Go Kodak Easy Share All In One!!!
