Those who knew me before I was pregnant know that I had no behind. Tushless. Since becoming pregnant though, I seem to have sprouted my very own stash of junk in the trunk.
I have a fabulous new maternity dress and beautiful black boots to complement. The plan was to wear them at a recent performance. Luckily, I gave the outfit a trial run in front of the mirror that morning. I was lumpy.
Cravings, my favorite maternity store, had a display of Spanx. I had never heard of them. I am apparently behind…no pun intended.
Basically, they are girdles for the modern woman; help for the hip, but slightly saggy and/or lumpy woman — and the Power Mama Spanx are for the pregnant ladies.
While firming up my newly padded behind and smoothing out all the lines under my knit dress, the Power Mama Spanx also have a panel in front for my belly. I felt confidant on stage and comfortable off stage.

I found out about Spanx from watching some episode of The View last summer…they were talking about them.
They are awesome! I own one pair & they smooth out the junk in my trunk as well. I did not know they made maternity! That is very smart on their part.
It’s amazing you have lived this long without Spanx. Now you know the secret that all the shapely girls really aren’t that shapely. Spanx come in body shapers, butt shapers, thigh shapers and probably more. HOWEVER, don’t wear them in the heat or will regret feeling the damp synthetic fibers rub together.
