Toy Quest Spiderman 3 Water Slide

A few weeks ago we purchased a Spiderman 3 Web Slinger Water Slide for our son at Meijer. We were out of town at the time and do not have that store anywhere close to us, making a regrettable purchase also not returnable.

We had issues with this product from Toy Quest from the beginning. After set-up my husband realized that there was a huge hole where the hose plugs into the slide. He used the included patch and waited for 30 minutes as directed, only to have another hole form a few inches from the original.

Our water pressure is excellent and Spiderman barely dribbled water out of his hand, let alone actually spraying any water. For them to use the word “drench” is a bit of an exaggeration.

We also noticed that even the photo on the box is deceptive. You can see in the picture that the inflatable tunnel is near the end of the slide, but the connector is actually located in the middle.

Overall, this product is of very poor quality. I couldn’t even find it on Toy Quest’s website so the link is to Amazon and check out the price! We paid $14.99 (on sale) and I didn’t expect it to last forever, but at least one afternoon would have been nice.

I’m mostly disappointed that I contacted Toy Quest regarding our issues and received no response. Apparently their customer service is equivalent to the product they sell. I would be very hesitant to purchase another item from them.
