Two PnP reviewers recently sampled & reviewed the Rocketfish Wireless Rear Speaker Kit. Did they like it? Keep reading to find out!

The main reason we had never gone the home theater route in our household is because I detest wires. I have about a frillion of them under my desk and I absolutely HATE them. Not only are they messy, but they’re a magnet for my toddler.
So naturally I eschewed any home theatre system that would involve having wires across my floor for the rear speakers. Some people can get away with this because they can run the wire along under their carpeting but we don’t have carpeting in our living room and thus, we were not having a home theater system either.
However, when I was offered a chance to sample a kit that makes your speakers work without wires (not unlike wi-fi for your computer), I said yes because this meant we could likely get a home theater system and get that movie theater feeling right here at home. This is a small but fabulous luxury since we rarely get to go anywhere, let alone the movies.
The huz went shopping, picked out a system for us and when the Rocketfish Wireless Rear Speaker Kit arrived, he hooked it up in about two seconds and voilá! No wires attached to the rear speakers. And it sounds great; not one bit different than when the rear speakers are used with their ugly wires. Yay Rocketfish!

Do you know what I love? Simplicity and easy to read instructions. Do you know what I hate? Clutter and tangled wires. When I was offered to review the Rocketfish Wireless Rear Speaker Kit I could not wait for it to arrive.
Usually I am not the “electronics” expert in our house. In fact, I’m still learning to work our DVD player. But my impatience got the best of me and one late night I decided to hook this baby up myself. I am quite proud to say it went smoothly and worked beautifully.
My favorite feature was that the receiver power cord is neatly hidden in a small storage compartment at the bottom of the unit. It offers 2.4 GHz of wireless signal with 100′ range. So even in a rather large room it will continue to provide CD quality audio to your rear speakers without any messy wires.
This Rocketfish system has taken the ugly wires away from our baseboards. If you are looking for a Father’s Day gift, look no further. What man doesn’t enjoy an electronic gadget? And for the price you are getting a quality product that will help your home decor as well.
