Hypnôse Custom Volume Mascara

After seeing the movie Dreamgirls, I left the theater with the firm decision that I would be purchasing false eyelashes so as to achieve Beyonce’s sexy, heavy-lashed look.

Trotting off to Sephora, I planned to buy and have installed some lovely, long lashes. However, the sales person immediately derailed my plan and said, “You don’t want false eyelashes. Come with me. You need Hypnôse.”

In my mind, I know Hypnôse is like every other hype. Yeah, yeah, long, thick, whatever… Mascara is mascara. I take the tube the clerk hands me, but I secretly grab some false eyelashes, too.

The next day in the carpool line I apply the Hypnôse mascara and am stunned. My lashes reach toward the rearview mirror - just one coat and my lashes are the length of Beyonce’s. What will happen if I put on two coats? Too scary for the carpool line!

(Just to be complete in my testing, I did affix the false eyelashes. They were not nearly as long as Hypnôse, and they bugged me. I ended up using Hypnôse on top of the false eyelashes, and I am pretty sure I looked like a hooker at my mid-day charity event.)
