Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners

Ever seen a product and thought why didn’t I think of that? That product for me was the Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners.

The geniuses behind this invention are the same folks who made the release aluminum non-stick foil, but took it one step further by creating this liner you place in your crock pot and when finished can toss in the trash. It eliminates the in-between step of cursing the burnt food while trying to hold the 10 pound pot under the sink.

My parents spend a lot time camping with friends and traveling to NASCAR races. Cooking on the road can bring many challenges, including counter space and clean-up. They rely on their crockpot for dinners they can leave cooking while out. I have often heard my mom complain about the small sink in their camper and the difficulty of washing out a large pot. When Reynolds sent me a sample of these liners, I couldn’t wait to share them with her!

There were a few concerns regarding whether the liner would stay put. I believe an elastic band built into the edge of the line might be helpful. We also wondered if the liner would melt although I’m sure some scientists and those who tested this product at the Reynolds lab already made sure it was heat resistant.

The biggest test was to see if it was leakproof because what good would this be if it leaked? The liner passed with flying colors. The only issue I had was that having the liner made stirring a little more difficult and you should be cautious not to stir around the sides so that it does not shift. It will fit 3-6.5 quart round and oval slow cookers.

Reynolds has a new campaign called the No Scrub RV Club. You can check out the contest, learn how to join the club and how to win an RV kitchen makeover over at the No Scrub RV Club web site. They also offer recipes and a travel themed gift when you participate. If you’re just curious and want to try this new product travel over to Reynolds and request a free sample.

With so many picnics, graduations, camp-outs, and pot-lucks filling our calendars the Slow Cooker Liners will help reduce the clean-up process. Wedding season is also approaching and if you’re looking for that must-have gift every newlywed couple will use, pick up a crock-pot and add a box of Reynolds liners! They’ll thank you later!
