Dress Up Adventure Dora Doll: Great Character Toy

My three year old got this doll for her recent birthday, and it is far and away my favorite present she received, and possibly hers, too.

Dress Up Adventure Dora is a large doll, about 15” tall. She comes in denim shorts and a cute pink top, with a yellow flower watch and her ever present Backpack. She also comes with a travel journal, a hair brush, and a puppy dog.

The doll is hard plastic/rubber with realistic hair. The brush is sized well for little hands, as are the clothes that can be removed by a three year old all by herself. Mommy doesn’t have to help! There are other outfits available separately for Dora to change into.

When her clothes are off she has what looks like a pink bikini painted on to her body – no underwear for little hands to struggle with (thank you! – she has enough trouble with her own underwear), and the bikini is appropriately modest.

My daughter likes to play that Dora’s going to the pool, and then she gets dressed to go and find her lost dog. I find it a bit odd that it came with a puppy instead of Boots, but whatever. My daughter’s happy so it works for me!

If your child loves all things Dora like mine does and loves to play dress up, this is a fantastic doll.
