Commercials lie sometimes. That woman with the incredibly shiny hair on the dandruff shampoo ad? That dandruff shampoo didn’t cause that.
In fact, I have yet to find a shampoo that has anything to do with how shiny my hair is. Recently succumbing to the true brunette in me, I was worried about shine. My blonde locks never lacked for glistening, and all I had to do was use a little Biosilk before drying it. Brunette is tougher though. The main reason I never stopped highlighting, and by highlighting I mean completely coloring from root to tip, was because brunette can be dull.
Enter Kenra Silkening Mist.
Granted, I will buy anything my hairdresser hands me at least once because I love hair products; especially ones that smell yummy. When they smell yummy and do what they say they are going to do, it’s just a bonus.
For around $15, you get a sleek silver can of Kenra Silkening Mist that really does make your hair shine. It doesn’t act as a hair spray, it doesn’t help or hinder the styling of your hair, and it doesn’t add any weight to your hair either. It simply does what it claims, making your hair shine like silk. I for one, am a woman who will spend $15 on shiny hair and don’t feel frivolous suggesting that you might want to do the same.
