Dirt Devil Kone ~ The New Home Accessory

My new best friend is the Dirt Devil Kone. I am probably one of millions who were attracted to this product because of its unique and futuristic design. I’ve always kept a hand-held vacuum in our kitchen to clean up the little messes from art projects, crumbs and spook-poop (our word for dust). My last one bit the dust a few months ago. I was excited to shop for a replacement and found the Kone to be stylish and attractive. You can choose from 6 fabulous colors to accessorize your decor. Sure it looked great, but how would it hold up in our house?

The sleek Kone certainly met all my expectations and more. The two complaints I read about are the fact that it doesn’t have an actual handle and is loud, which I agree with. However, I didn’t find it hard to hold at all. Actually it reminded me of a small lightsaber from Star Wars. I expected some noise given the power it sports. The biggest dilemma was where to display it.

My concern was that the suction might be affected due to the width of the tip, but I was wrong. Honestly, I believe it is more powerful than my large 5 year old vacuum and includes a rubber tip which is furniture and wooden floor friendly. Another nice feature is the bagless dirt cup that empties easily and prevents further mess. You can plug the rechargeable unit in and a small illumination on the front will act as a night light. For such powerful suction and priced under $40 I’m impressed with how lightweight it is (1.9 lbs). The Kone is another item that makes the day-to-day home life a little easier and a little prettier. No wife would complain about receiving this vacuum as a gift!
