A New Way to Display Your Pictures

I admit I was a fan of this new technology even before I tried it, because I love pictures. I struggle with how to display them all in frames in places everyone can see them. What good are they if I can’t share them? Welcome to that answer – The Kodak 8.0” Digital Picture Frame.
Kodak.jpgTo be honest, I just learned to use our DVR a few months ago and I still have trouble with the DVD player. I’m what they call “slow” when it comes to learning new things, but I found this new product to be very user-friendly. There are several different types of digital photo frames out there, I’m sure they basically all work the in the same manner, but some features may vary.

The Kodak 8.0” will play your MP3’s, videos, and just about any of your digital photo cards. The amount of pictures it can hold is determined by your memory card. You can also change the frame to display a different look altogether. Besides this photo frame I have also seen digital photo key chains, alarm clocks, and photo albums.

Since I am so tech-savvy I usually skip reading instructions, but this time I read them. I mainly took the time because they were actually written in English and easy to follow. All I did was organize the photos from my computer, download them to the USB Flash Drive, then plug that into the back of the frame and created an instant slideshow. Aside from organizing the photos on the computer that I’ve been neglecting, it only took a few minutes to get the frame working.

My only issue was that the adjustable stand leaned too far back and it left a glare on the LCD screen. To solve this you can either prop it up with something else. When I researched more on this product I found that others either loved it or hated it. It retails for under $200 and is a great home furnishing with unlimited potential. If you decide to purchase one be sure you research before you buy. Make sure the memory card you use will be compatible. It has certainly been a fun new gadget for me.
