I received a complimentary Phillips Norelco Bodygroom shaver to review but judging by hairless
hotties on the box, it’s clearly intended for the man of the household so I passed it off to the huz and let him take it for a spin.
Since I had reminded him beforehand not to go crazy because stubble can be very itchy he didn’t shave to the skin, though this shaver is definitely meant to do just that. It has three settings, all of which are shorter than you would find with a typical hair clipper. Oh and I want to emphasize this is for hair below the head only. No head or face shaving with the Bodygroom, aiight?
His overall impression of the Bodygroom, having used it on his arm (he has a sleeve of tattoos) is that it works well for it’s intended purpose and he was most impressed by the fact that it doesn’t pull your hair, which is apparently common with other kinds of trimmers and shavers that aren’t built to handle longer hair. To be fair, I’ve read other reviews of this same device where hair pulling was a problem for the user but for us, it was not.
And finally, I would be remiss if I didn’t highlight what is probably the most popular selling point of the Bodygroom, which is the addition of an “optical inch” to a certain body part after shaving. If you’re not getting my meaning, it would probably be easier for me to just send you to watch this very brief, informative and kind of funny video that will further explain the concept. You might even get a chuckle out of it and at the very least you’ll be informed because this is optical inch business is the wave of the future, people, and it WILL be on the final!
