The Product Ho strikes again! This time it’s not coffee or yogurt or anything edible. No, it’s this
adorable little 2.4 oz. MP3/Video player from Insignia that arrived in my mailbox a few days ago. But it’s SO cute that I almost do want to eat it.
Now, I’m pretty much a whiz on the computer, however, little gadgets like this are not my thing so it’s taken me a couple days to figure it all out but so far, I’m really diggin’ it and though i know most people use these things for MP3’s, I really enjoy the radio feature. I can listen to NPR’s Morning Edition without having to turn on the stereo, thus allowing my kids to watch their beloved Curious George while I check my email and make breakfast.
I’m a little embarrassed to tell you that I’ve never even SEEN any kind of iPod in person (hangs head in shame for lack of hipness), and thus I may impress easily but seriously, this baby will hold up to 2 GB which equals 500 songs, 2,000 photos, 25 audiobooks or 7 movies. SEVEN MOVIES, PEOPLE.
Color me impressed!
My only gripe would be that the packaging says it’s Mac compatible but there was nothing (that I could find) about Macs in the documentation. Nonetheless, I was able to figure out how to load stuff onto it without downloading any special software (because I don’t think they actually have any) and it’s now chock full of great tunes and NPR podcasts!!!
Yippeeee!

Maybe I should get one of those since my ipod just stopped working again.
